English for Business (EFB)

Preliminary Level- 4

The core examination is a reading and writing test comprising business related tasks. These include reading, understanding and writing letters, memos, and reports. Optional speaking and listening tests also available.

English for Commerce (EFC)

Written examination designed to test the ability to read, write, and understand English within a general commercial or industrial context.

Spoken and written examinations, using authentic materials specifically designed to gauge proficiency of English for the tourism industry.

A series of tests which assess English language ability in the core language skills (reading, riting, listening and speaking.) Uses a single scale scoring system and questions based on work, home and travel settings. Online and paper-based versions available.

 FELSA covers 3 language skills - listening, reading and speaking. (Available in paper based format )and online as of (FELSA) Autumn 2006.) Measures English language proficiency using work, home, social and travel settings. Suitable for candidates of all ages with a basic level English language ability

Elementary level qualifications testing the candidate's understanding of straightforward forms of business communications.

Spoken assessment conducted face to face with an and approved external examiner covering a combination of tasks including general conversation, role-plays, listening and reading comprehension (only available in certain countries).
