Q1: Who should sit for LCCI examinations?
A1: Anyone who wishes to acquire/improve their skills in the subjects to be examined should sit for the examinations.

  • high school students/graduates who may wish to acquire new skills which can lead better job prospects
  • undergraduates who may wish to have an added qualification to supplement their graduate degree when seeking jobs
  • graduates of various disciplines who may wish to enhance their chances of obtaining employment with foreign/local enterprises
  • matured students who may wish to acquire new skills which can lead to better job prospects

Q2: What pre-qualifications are needed to sit for the examinations?
A2: As LCCI International Qualifications examinations are "open access"; there are no entry requirements. However, some of our Registered Training Centers may set entry requirements, and take entrance tests as well, in order to ensure that right candidates take the right subjects at the right level.

Q3: Must I pass a lower level before proceeding to a higher level?
A3: No, you may choose to sit for any level you wish. For instance, you may proceed directly to register for Level 3 without having sat for Level 1 and 2 of the subject. However, for most students, it is recommended that they commence studying from Level 1 onwards unless the subject knowledge is already well within their grasp.

Q4: Where can I study for an LCCI course?
A4: You may study for an LCCI course at any of our Registered Training Centers. Please contact your local LOCI office to find the LOCI training center nearest to you.

You may also self-study and appear for LOCI examinations as a private candidate. Please contact our local offices for details.

Q5: If I wish to self-study, what help is available?
A5: You may purchase Extended Syllabus, Text Books, Past papers and Model Answers from our local offices.

Q6: When are the results of examinations released and the certificates received?
A6: Results will be published within 8 weeks from the last date of timetabled examination and you will receive the certificates within 12 weeks.
