London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) International Qualifications got off to a flying start in Pune, the educational capital of India, on 3rd June 2005 at Institute of Engineers Hall. LCCI was very proud to have the Chairman of Indian National Assessment and Accreditation Council, Prof. Ram Takawale as the Chief Guest and Prof Subhash Pawar, as the Guest of Honour.

Prof Takawale stated, "We are especially pleased that LCCI International Qualifications made it to Pune. Despite the presence of many different kinds of educational institutions in Pune, something related to business related vocational qualifications were missing and by having LCCI International Qualifications launching in Pune, it has completed the menu.”

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Sean Leslie, Managing Director, LCCI Asia HQ, said “Pune has a good mix of engineering and professional courses. So we opted to launch the LCCI International Qualifications here in Pune. Once we stabilise our Maharashtra operations, we will move to other states as well.”

Inspire Education Resources and Consultancy Services India (Pvt) Ltd and PACE (Poona) Pvt Ltd have been appointed as the Exclusive Market Representative (EMR) and the Market Development Unit (MDU) respectively for the State of Maharashtra.
